Fools in Love – Book Review

Teenagers go through a lot of challenges and experiences that can either ruin or build their future depending on how they respond to them. Fools in Love is an excellent book written by Gjoe Uzor a professional creative writer who in 2013 released a masterpiece, To Love a Player. His passion for writing love-based novels is founded on his strong belief that love is the only thing that holds the peace of the universe.

The book has two main characters Damen and Stasee. They are both in the same high school, and are finding it hard to juggle between their social standing, studies, and romance. Stasee, who is rather quiet and loves spending time alone, manages to make new friends and learn a couple of life lessons the hard way. On the other hand, Damen who is very popular in the school is attracted to Stasee. However, when his social standing in the school is put on the line, he decides to run. The two have to find a way to overcome their differences to build a romantic relationship that can stand the test of time.

One of the attributes that make this love story unique is that the author worked smart to come up with a plot that clearly describes how the characters grow and change throughout the book. As you read this book, you will get a vivid image of what each of these two lovebirds goes through on a day-to-day basis. Gjoe goes an extra mile and incorporates some humorous paragraphs that will entertain you as you continue reading.

The story is well developed and complete. The scenarios that the two characters find themselves in will grasp your attention and lure you to continue to reading even if you have never read a similar novel before.
