MooNlight Howling

MooNlight Howling: Poems of an Existential Anxiety Attack sheds light on the emotion felt in philosophy. People who’ve read the booklet exclaim it’s “darkness,” saying that it’s “raw” and “deep.” No, this isn’t really a safe haven for people yearning a self-help book. You won’t find any humor within the pages of MooNlight Howling, but what you will find is a chance to wrestle with growth, addiction, insanity, love, society, and even your own mind.
The author might’ve been better off putting a :: DISCLAIMER :: in the back of his book, as it does harbor some messages that’re on the “triggering” side. Though, our author has an outlook on literature that is uncensored. Emenual Wolff wants to deliver an unapologetically true, and real experience. He says, “It was never meant to be uplifting, nor tragic, but instead an attempt at unveiling the mechanisms of our mysterious consciousness, and its interaction with an even more mysterious reality: being alive.”
This is the kind of book that you can read in a few hours, or over several days, and feel a different experience each time. MooNlight Howling interacts with you, based on the collection of experiences you feel from the past 24 hours, to 12 months. It’s the hope of its author that whatever frame you find yourself in, this book will give you a chance at a refreshed, and sobering clarity.
When Emenual Wolff isn’t traveling venues delivering spoken word, signing and selling his book, he’s advocating the necessity of saving the bees, and also describing the benefits of reading, instead of watching television. More importantly, he strongly preaches on the matter of supporting your local talent. He actively shares and promotes the work of other artists who are just starting out, in hopes that the art community will grow to a sturdy foundation successful “bricks in a wall.”
