Thirty-five and a half conspiracies is the eighth book of the Rose Gardner Mystery series. The book is filled with a lot of thrill and suspense that keeps the reader glued to the book. The author, Denise Grover Swank is regarded as the bestselling author by the New York Times and USA Today. She has written several books containing suspense, mystery, thrill and romance.

PlotRose Gardner has always been in some type of danger but she manages to escape. This time, she is in trouble with one of the most powerful people and it may be a challenge getting out of it. J.R Simmons is one of the most powerful men in southern Arkansas and he has pressed charges against Rose which lands her in the Fenton County holding cell.

She is not the only one in trouble. Her boyfriend Mason and her friend Skeeter are also in danger as J.R Simmons is also determined to destroy them too. Rose’s ex boyfriend is also J.R Simmons’ son and he joins his father in his wicked attempts.

Although Rose’s friends are determined to help her, the task proves difficult because J.R Simmons has a lot of money, power and influence which he has used for years to cover his conspiracies. Rose considers reassuming her role as the Lady in Black which can save her life and that of her friend and boyfriend. However, if she does so, she risks her identity being revealed and she also risks her life.

The book is amazing and the story is completely realistic. The suspense in the book will keep you reading it continuously and eagerly awaiting the next book in the series. The storyline is easy to follow from the beginning so there are no confusions anywhere in the book.
