The importance of having a great book cover and title

This question as a writer of having a great book cover and title is of importance in essence of grabbing the readers eye, if the audience sees a good book cover and title he will for sure stick around long enough to see what the book is about. In reality the saying “You can’t judge a book by its cover might be a little off when it comes to writing and creating a book cover and title.

A great example and awesome story is regarding my book Research Me: God, Body, Illness, it had been gifted to someone my husband knows from his office. The other day my husband had asked the man if he or his wife liked the book, he had stated that he and his wife hadn’t had a chance to read it yet, puzzled my husband asked why? He said that when he was given the book he had sat it down on the counter where he would see it later to pick it up to read it, it was a good spot because when company came over for a visit that same evening the book cover and title caught their eye and immediately the company asked if they could borrow the book. After a week they had retuned the book. Unfortunately, the guy put the book back where he would see it to pick up and read it and mentioned to him thank you that was an awesome book, and that same day after getting the book back, more company came over for a visit, saw the book and again he was asked if they could borrow the book, after reading it they brought it back and had said “what a great book, very, insightful, inspirational, spiritual, and full of helpful tips”. This has happened to him so far five times, he had indicated to my husband that so far, he still hasn’t had a chance to read it because everyone has been borrowing the book.

I told my husband, that he should probably give him another book, so he could read it. So, you see that the true story I just told you, says a lot about having a great book cover and title, it is truly remarkable how Research Me is viewed and I have to thank my twin sister for doing all the art work for me. If you are looking for someone with that kind of talent, look at to see if she would be available and a good match for your project. She can help to create the best colorful, beautiful, eye catching, and realistic art.

Romans 12:3-11
“For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.

Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.

Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;” (NKJV)
