Interview with Mel M. Andre Author of Be Unstoppable

What inspires you to write?

My biggest inspiration for writing is helping people. All of my companies, projects and writings are all based on helping people become the greatest version of themselves. I want to help people by motivating, educating and empowering them.

My Book, Be Unstoppable, really came from that idea. I want people to know that they can Be Unstoppable no matter what obstacle they may come across in life or business. Life can be chaotic, but with the proper motivation, education and empowerment you can overcome anything and become an unstoppable force.

How hard was it to sit down and actually start writing something?

Some parts were easy to write, while others were very difficult. Be Unstoppable is a self-help book, but it is based on my life and my experiences. Chapter 1 was really hard for me to write. I had to open myself up and allow myself to be vulnerable.

Being vulnerable is hard for me and Chapter 1 I had really had to open up and be vulnerable. I was writing about trauma that I very rarely speak about so it took me awhile to actually sit down and start writing it.

The chapters that I speak about the tools to be unstoppable were easy for me to write. These are tools that I share with my clients daily. The difference was I was writing it instead of speaking about it. Those chapters I could just sit down, open up goggle docs and just start writing.

Was there a time you were unable to write, At All?

Yes, Chapter 1.

There were times I would have to just stop writing. Chapter 1 is filled with painful memories and abuse. I never speak about that time in my life. I was ashamed that I allowed something like that to happen to me. So I would sit down completely prepared to write and I would freeze. I actually didn’t sleep well after writing the first draft of chapter 1.

What is your motivation for writing more?

I want to help people! I really do. I overcame a lot of obstacles in the last couple of years and if I can do it, anyone can do it.

I want to share my journey and the things that I learned from it. It took me years to learn the things that I learned. It doesn’t have to take years, because I have the blueprint right here. I want to share the blueprint with everyone. I want to motivate, educate and empower people to be unstoppable.

Can you tell us about your current projects?

I am working on a lot of projects right now. I am so excited that my first book, Be Unstoppable, will be available on October 13 on Amazon and Barnes and Nobles. I also just started a podcast called Be Unstoppable and it features many amazing people who have overcome so many obstacles.

October will be a busy month for me, I have the release of Be Unstoppable, I am launching a online course called Entrepreneur 101, I will also be launching my new YouTube page . I am really excited for all of the new content coming out.
